New NADRA Mega Centre opens for public in Karachi

Sindh Governor Syed Nihal Hashmi on Monday inaugurated a new NADRA Mega Centre in Karachi’s Surjani area, making identity registration and documentation services more accessible for residents of the locality and nearby neighborhoods.

The centre has been established to make the registration process easier and more convenient. It features 20 “one-window” counters, allowing people to complete a range of NADRA services at one location.

To better serve the public, separate counters have been set up for senior citizens and persons with disabilities. The facility also includes a spacious waiting area with seating for up to 200 visitors.

The mega centre can handle more than 2,000 applicants within 24 hours. It also houses a zonal office, enabling residents to complete administrative work locally instead of travelling to the Ayesha Manzil office.

The opening of the new centre is expected to improve access to public services in Karachi by offering faster and more convenient processing for National Identity Cards and other registration-related services.
