Karachi board announces last date for SSC exam form submission

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi has released the timetable for submitting SSC examination forms, outlining the process for students preparing for upcoming annual and supplementary exams in the city.

According to the notification, students who appeared in the SSC Part II examinations in 2025 and did not pass one or more subjects are eligible to apply for the SSC Part I annual examinations to be held in 2026.

The board stated that forms for both science and general groups will be accepted from regular and private candidates under a defined schedule that includes normal and late submission periods.

Examination forms can be submitted without any late fee from January 6 to January 30 2026. After this period, late fees will apply, starting at Rs 200 and increasing gradually up to Rs 1,800 depending on the date of submission.

Candidates who fail to submit their forms even after the final deadline will be required to pay a fine of Rs 2,500.

Regular candidates from science and general groups are required to complete the process online through the board’s website by generating fee vouchers and depositing the required amount at designated banks. The board also clarified that students enrolled in government schools are exempt from examination fees in line with Sindh government policy.

Private candidates and students reappearing after failure must submit their forms through selected branches of National Bank, Askari Commercial Bank, and United Bank Limited across the country as notified.

School heads have been instructed to submit all student forms together in a single batch to avoid administrative delays and paperwork issues.

Education officials advised students and parents to strictly follow the announced schedule, cautioning that any delay or mistake in form submission could affect a student’s eligibility to appear in the examinations.
