KARACHI: Different areas of the city experienced moderate to heavy rainfall, with varying levels recorded across localities, the Met Office said.
Nazimabad received the highest rainfall at 69.9mm. Other areas also saw heavy rain, including Keamari with 56mm, Saadi Town with 48mm and Gulistan-e-Johar with 44.2mm.
Bahria Town recorded 43.5mm, while Orangi Town received 39.4mm. Gulshan-e-Maymar saw 36mm of rain, and both Jinnah Terminal and Surjani Town recorded 35mm each.
Rainfall was also reported in DHA with 33mm, Old Airport with 32.6mm and Shahrah-e-Faisal with 30.4mm.
Mauripur recorded 29mm, North Karachi 28.8mm, Korangi 18.2mm and Gulshan-e-Hadeed 17mm.

Meanwhile, at least six people lost their lives and three others were injured in incidents linked to the rain.
Reports said several tragic events took place across the city. In Golimar, a rickshaw driver named Irshad died when a wall of a house collapsed on him.
In Surjani Town, a young man lost his life after being electrocuted while working. In a separate incident, Abdul Wali died of electrocution near a hotel in PIB Colony.
Authorities said a 12-year-old girl, Dua, died from an electric shock inside her home in Surjani Town Sector 7-A. Another unidentified man was electrocuted on MA Jinnah Road.
In the Ahsanabad area on the Super Highway, a labourer also died due to electrocution during the rain. In another incident, three children were injured in Orangi Town after a wall collapsed.
