A former member of the National Assembly and a host, the Late Amir Liaqat Hussain leaked video case is in court, and a Famous YouTuber, Yasir Shami, was arrested for leaking the inappropriate video.
Yasir Shami was already out of the case on bail of 500,000, though another suspect, Amir Liaqat’s ex-wife Daniyal Shah, was also granted bail on the same amount of bail.
After his bail period, Yasir again appeared in court and filed another bail application, and the court granted him bail again on the same previous bond condition.
After taking bail from the court, Yasir talked to the Media and said, “I am a journalist, and my responsibility is to report the news.”
The lawyer of Yasir Shami further said, “Shami did nothing wrong by sharing the news and did not break any law.”
Amir Liaquat Hussain was living alone at his residency, and he was found unresponsive at his home in June 2022. After taking him to the hospital, he was declared dead. Before his death, he was depressed and under mental pressure because of his leaked naked video on social media.
In July 2022, his first wife, Bushra, filed a case with her son and daughter with the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) against his third wife, Daniya Shah, for her involvement in a leaked viral video.
Following that, FIA registered the complaint against Daniya Shah under Sections 20, 21, and 24 of the PECA Act 2016 on October 10, 2022. h in Dec 2022, and she was arrested by FIA Lodhra, Punjab, but after filing a bail application, she was released on bail from Karachi court.
A judicial judge of Karachi has charged her, at a point, for the leak of an inappropriate video of Amir Liaqauat. The case is still under decision.
