Xiaomi is gearing up for the official launch of its highly anticipated SU7 electric vehicle (EV) later this month, according to a report. The potential launch date aligns with the previously announced Q2 delivery schedule, as confirmed by Xiaomi President Lu Weibing.

In addition to the vehicle launch, Xiaomi has initiated the construction of dedicated stores in China specifically for car sales. These dedicated 2S stores, numbering around 60-70 initially, are being established in major Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, signalling that official pricing for the SU7 could be revealed soon, according to Gizmochina.

The Xiaomi SU7 made its international debut at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Scheduled for deliveries commencing in Q2 2024. Targeting the mid to high-end market, the speculated price range for the SU7 is between 250,000-370,000 Yuan ($35,176 – $52,061).

Xiaomi aims to tap into its existing base of 20 million premium smartphone users in China to drive initial sales and anticipates ramping up production to 10,000 units per month by July.

While a Zeekr executive previously hinted at a potential launch date of March 28th, Xiaomi has not officially confirmed this information. Additionally, recent leaks have revealed new colors for the SU7.
