Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Pakistan this week, as confirmed by Turkish officials.
Turkey’s Director of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, announced on X (formerly Twitter) that President Erdogan will be traveling to Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan from February 10 to 13.
During the visit, President Erdogan will discuss all aspects of bilateral relations and explore opportunities for enhancing cooperation through key projects.
Altun further mentioned that after his stop in Malaysia, President Erdogan will co-chair High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meetings in both Indonesia and Pakistan.
Agreements are expected to be signed emphasizing the legal framework of bilateral relations, and Erdogan will also hold discussions with business leaders in the host countries.
The situation in Gaza will be a key focus of the talks, along with discussions on regional and global matters.
Earlier, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari had a brief meeting with President Erdogan in Istanbul while on his way to Portugal.
The meeting took place at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport State Guesthouse, just before Erdogan departed for Malaysia.
