Karachi: A terrible accident on the road from Ibrahim Hyderi to Korangi Crossing has left three people dead and that has leaded to a protest that has blocked the main road.
According to reports, a speeding dumper crashed into a motorcycle, killing all three riders on the spot.
Strikers set tires on fire and completely blocked Korangi Crossing Road, demanding justice. Many locals blamed careless driving and the lack of traffic control for the accident.
Three ambulances were parked at the scene, carrying the bodies of the victims. The protesters refused to move until strict action was promised against reckless truck drivers.
Police officers are on the spot trying to calm the situation. They have asked the people to clear the road so that traffic can move again. Meanwhile, investigations into the accident are still going on.
