The much-awaited Suzuki Wagon R 2025 has finally arrived, offering an affordable upgrade for drivers seeking a fuel-efficient, city-friendly car.
Powered by a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine delivering 67 horsepower and 90 Nm torque, the new Wagon R is available in both manual and Auto Gear Shift (AGS) versions.
Suzuki claims the hatchback can achieve an impressive 14–16 km per litre in city driving, placing it among the top performers in its segment.
Design-wise, the 2025 model features a trapezoidal grille, halogen headlamps, and a boxy silhouette. Alloy wheels are available on the VXL and AGS variants.
Inside, it offers practical legroom and comfort suited for daily city commutes or occasional long drives.
Wagon R 2025 Prices:
- VXR: Rs 3,214,000 (~$11,500)
- VXL: Rs 3,412,000 (~$12,200)
- AGS: Rs 3,741,000 (~$13,300)
Although the latest model is launching internationally, Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has officially stopped new bookings for the Wagon R, signaling the end of its local run.
This move comes as sales dropped significantly, with only 1,608 units sold in eight months, compared to 1,887 units of the more modern Suzuki Cultus.
Analysts believe the Wagon R struggled to keep up with consumer demands due to its dated design and fewer features.
