The scholarships are meant for students from low-income families, specifically those whose parents earn Rs35,000 or less per month.

Each selected student will receive Rs25,000 as financial support. This initiative aims to make education more accessible for disadvantaged communities.

In addition, the Sindh government recently launched a job portal to connect citizens with employment opportunities in both the public and private sectors.

The launch event was attended by prominent leaders, including Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon highlighted that with 65% of Pakistan’s population being youth, the platform will cater to their employment needs.

Job seekers, whether educated or skilled workers, can upload their CVs, making it easier for employers to find suitable candidates.

The portal is expected to play a key role in reducing unemployment and bridging the gap between job seekers and employers.
