Shahid Afridi, popularly known as Boom Boom Afridi is a famous Pakistani all-rounder cricketer. He has been the captain of the national cricket team. He made his ODI debut in 1996 in the match vs Kenya.
Recently he was invited to a show “After Hours” with Ushna Shah where she asked him different questions about his career, and his success story one of the questions Ushna asked her about his Idol, Shahid Afridi replied that his Idol is Pakistan’s former cricketer and prime minister Imran Khan.
He stated “I started cricket after seeing Imran Khan into play”
He also said that Waseem Akram, Waqar Younus, and Inzamam ul Haque are our heroes and he wished in dream to play with them. He is so grateful to have played with them. He said “I have played a lot of games and learned a lot from them”
