Saudi delegation arrives in Pakistan for Makkah route evaluation

A 45-member delegation arrived in Pakistan to review the arrangements under the Road to Makkah project, as per reports from 24NewsHD TV Channel. Upon arrival, officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs warmly welcomed the delegation at Islamabad Airport.

This visit marked a significant step in ensuring a smooth and comfortable Hajj experience for Pakistani pilgrims this year. According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, a total of 50,500 pilgrims will travel to Saudi Arabia through these flights.

These flights will operate under the Road to Makkah project. This initiative aims to facilitate pilgrims by completing their immigration process within Pakistan, thus making their journey more comfortable and stress free.

Special counters will be set up at Islamabad and Karachi airports. At these counters, Saudi immigration officers will finalize all immigration formalities before the pilgrims depart for Saudi Arabia.

This will allow the pilgrims to cross long waiting hours and complicated procedures upon arrival in the Kingdom. The Road to Makkah project, which started as an initiative project, proved successful in previous years and is now expanding.

It will help accommodate a larger number of pilgrims. The project reflects the strong cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in religious affairs and aims to enhance the overall Hajj experience.

Authorities hope that with careful planning and the right facilities, Pakistani pilgrims will enjoy a peaceful and spiritually enriching Hajj journey. The government expressed its commitment to provide maximum support to pilgrims at every stage of their journey.
