Samsung is reportedly set to launch the Galaxy Ring later this year, as teased at the recent Galaxy Unpacked event.

SamMobile’s report indicates that the health-focused wearable device is set to offer three color options and varying sizes, with the largest size extending up to 22.2mm.

The information comes from tech analyst Avi Greengart, who claims to have had a hands-on experience with a prototype.

Positioned as a health device, the Galaxy Ring boasts an incredible lightweight design and is equipped with sensors to monitor health markers and record physical activity.

The device is expected to feature a 24×7 heart rate monitor, a blood oxygen sensor, sleep tracking, and other fitness capabilities. Rumors also suggest potential additions like blood pressure monitoring and atrial fibrillation detection.

The device will integrate with Samsung Health and may require a companion app or device for syncing and displaying health data to the user.
