Registration for Hajj 2026 starts across Pakistan

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has opened advance registration for Hajj 2026 and is urging all prospective pilgrims, both from within Pakistan and abroad, to register before the July 9 deadline.

As per the ministry’s announcement, advance registration is essential for anyone wishing to apply under the government or private Hajj schemes, though no payment is required at this stage.

Officials clarified that registration at this point does not guarantee Hajj approval, but it is a necessary step for eligibility.

Interested individuals can register at 15 nominated banks across the country, while overseas Pakistanis are encouraged to use officially designated platforms to sign up.

The ministry emphasized that this early process is aligned with Saudi Arabia’s guidelines, which require advance registration figures to determine each country’s Hajj quota.

A ministry spokesperson explained that the registration drive helps secure Pakistan’s fair share of the overall quota and urged all eligible individuals to complete the process ahead of the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

Details about the actual Hajj application procedure will be shared after the registration window closes.
