Israeli officials have indicated that this operation marks the beginning of a sustained military campaign.

In prevention to war conditions, Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport was closed indefinitely, and Israel’s air defence systems were placed on high alert, anticipating potential Iranian retaliation.

El Al, the national airline of Israel, has suspended all flights in and out of the country until further notice.

Meanwhile, Iran has closed its airspace due to heightened security concerns. This closure was confirmed by both state media and official aviation notices.

Despite the unfolding crisis, several commercial flights from carriers such as Emirates, Lufthansa, and Air India were still observed flying over Iranian airspace as initial reports of the strikes emerged.
