Realme has introduced two new 5G smartphones in India, expanding its budget-friendly Narzo series: the Narzo 70x 5G and Narzo 70 5G. Both models focus on delivering smooth performance, extended battery life, and a stylish design, catering to gamers and users seeking affordability.
The Narzo 70x 5G sports a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, offering a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It boasts a screen-to-body ratio of 91.40% and a contrast ratio of 1,500:1.
The display achieves a peak brightness of 950 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM) and typically 800 nits. It supports a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G chipset, built on a 6nm process technology with an octa-core processor clocking up to 2.2 GHz and a Mali-G57 GPU.
In terms of memory and storage, it offers 4GB and 6GB RAM with an additional 6GB of virtual RAM. Storage-wise, it comes with 128GB internal memory with support for up to 2TB of external storage using microSD.
The Narzo 70x 5G features a dual-camera setup comprising a 50MP AI main camera and a 2MP mono camera, along with an 8MP front camera. It supports various photography and video functions such as Night mode, Portrait, and Time-lapse.
The device houses a 5000mAh battery supported by 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging. Connectivity options include dual 5G standby, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and multiple navigation systems.
The Narzo 70 5G offers a slightly more premium experience with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display boasting a screen-to-body ratio of 92.65%. It features a resolution of FHD+ 2400×1080 and a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1. The display supports a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.
Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G chipset, the device features TSMC’s 6nm advanced process technology. It includes an 8-core 64-bit setup with a main frequency of up to 2.6GHz and a Mali-G68 GPU.
Memory and storage configurations include 6GB/8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, along with support for up to 8GB of virtual RAM and external storage of up to 1TB using microSD.
The Narzo 70 5G sports a dual-camera setup on the rear, comprising a primary 50MP camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is 16MP.
It packs a 5000mAh battery with 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging support and reverse charging capabilities. Additionally, it features IP54 dust & water resistance and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Both phones come with a vapor chamber cooling system and run on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, promising three years of software updates and two years of security updates.
