Lahore and several areas of Punjab are expected to see off-and-on rain, gusty winds, and occasional hailstorms starting Sunday evening and continuing into Monday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
This weather shift is due to moisture-laden air moving into central and southern regions of the country, along with a westerly weather system affecting the upper and central areas.
Affected regions include Murree, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, and many others, where moderate rain and windy conditions are forecast. In some spots, heavier rainfall and hail are also possible.
Lahore’s daytime temperatures are expected to range between 34°C and 36°C on Monday and Tuesday.
Over the past 24 hours, hot and dry weather persisted across much of Punjab, though some scattered rain did occur. Rainfall was recorded at Islamabad Airport (4mm), Bhakkar and Dera Ghazi Khan (3mm), and Murree and Multan (1mm).
Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Attock were the hottest in Punjab, with highs reaching 38°C. Sahiwal, Multan, and Faisalabad saw 37°C, while Lahore peaked at 35°C, with morning humidity at 53 per cent.
