Updated dates for the BBA (Hons) written exams have also been released. These tests will now be held on Thursday, May 15, and Friday, May 16.

In addition, the practical exams for the BFA programmes in Graphic Design and Textile Design are now scheduled for Monday, May 19, and Tuesday, May 20.

The university confirmed that the examination venues and timings will stay the same despite the new dates.

Meanwhile, all public and private schools and colleges throughout Punjab reopened on Monday, May 12, after a brief closure caused by escalating tensions between Pakistan and India.

The shutdown was implemented on May 7 following Indian missile and drone strikes on parts of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), prompting the provincial education authorities to halt academic activities as a safety measure.

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, in a statement on Sunday, confirmed the reopening of educational institutions. “The safety of students and staff remains our top priority. With the situation stabilised, schools and colleges will resume as scheduled,” he said.

The conflict had also affected the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) exams. Papers such as Quran translation, ethics, mathematics, biology, and several practical assessments were postponed in Lahore, Multan, and other affected areas.
