PM Shehbaz to visit Turkiye today for talks with Erdogan

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif left for Ankara, Türkiye, on Tuesday, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and other senior officials.

During his trip, the Prime Minister is scheduled to engage in in-depth talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties and addressing current regional and global developments.

Pakistan and Türkiye, known for their deep-rooted friendship and strategic partnership, continue their tradition of frequent top-level interactions, highlighting the enduring brotherhood between the two countries.

Earlier in Islamabad, PM Shehbaz Sharif underlined Pakistan’s interest in expanding collaboration with China in key areas such as space technology, satellite communications, and internet services.

While meeting with representatives of the Chinese space firm Galaxy Space, he emphasized that Pakistan places great importance on advancing its space technology sector.

“China is our most reliable friend and strategic partner,” he stated.

In response, the Galaxy Space delegation showed strong interest in investing in Pakistan’s space industry and working jointly with local space agencies and telecom firms.
