Petroleum prices in Pakistan are expected to dip slightly, following minor changes in global oil markets.
Petrol may drop by Rs0.6 per litre and diesel by Rs0.28 per litre. Currently, petrol sells at Rs252.63 and high-speed diesel at Rs254.64 per litre.
If the revision is approved, the new rates will be Rs. 252.03 for petrol and Rs254.36 for diesel.
Meanwhile, kerosene is set to increase by Rs0.3 to reach Rs164.96 per litre, and light diesel oil could go up by Rs1.3 per litre.
In the last revision on April 15, prices remained unchanged. Prior to that, the federal government had reduced both petrol and diesel rates by Rs2 per litre.
