The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released an updated schedule for the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, to be held at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
Bangladesh is set to arrive in Lahore on May 25, with both teams scheduled for training sessions on May 26 and 27. All three matches will start at 8:00 PM local time.
The first T20I will take place on Wednesday, May 28, followed by the second on Friday, May 30, and the final match on Sunday, June 1.
On the same day the schedule was announced, Pakistan also revealed its squad for the series.
In a notable change, senior players Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Afridi have been left out, possibly indicating a fresh direction under new head coach Mike Hesson, who takes charge of the white-ball side for the first time.
Fast bowler Hasan Ali returns to the T20I setup after last playing against Ireland in 2024. Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub are also back in action following their recovery from injuries that kept them out of the 2025 Champions Trophy and the recent series against New Zealand.
Both cricket boards emphasized their mutual commitment to maintaining strong bilateral relations despite the adjustments.
