In an exciting move, the Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has revealed ambitious plans to modernize the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage in 2024. Aimed at benefiting the 90,000 pilgrims from Pakistan, a groundbreaking mobile application will take center stage in this transformative journey.

Each pilgrim will receive a special suitcase containing a personalized QR code, a digital guide that holds crucial details for their sacred expedition. This innovative approach is set to not only enrich the overall pilgrimage experience but also streamline logistical aspects, making the journey more accessible and convenient for participants.

The Hajj policy, including the 2024 package pricing at Rs 1,075,000, has received approval from the cabinet. This strategic pricing aims to make the pilgrimage more cost-effective compared to the previous year, potentially opening doors for a broader range of individuals to undertake this sacred journey.

Going a step further in reducing financial burdens, the Ministry is actively negotiating with airlines to secure relief on airfares for pilgrims. This commitment reflects a dedicated effort to ensure that the spiritual journey remains well-organized and financially feasible for all participants.

The holistic modernization approach integrates technology and collaborative efforts to elevate the overall Hajj experience for Pakistani pilgrims in 2024. This move signifies a commitment to both tradition and progress, making the sacred pilgrimage a more inclusive and enriching endeavor for all.
