Noshki oil tanker blast: Five injured die in Karachi hospital

The death toll from the oil tanker explosion in Balochistan’s Noshki rose to eight on Saturday after five of the injured, who had been flown to Karachi for treatment, passed away in the hospital, according to the report.

Rescue teams confirmed that the five victims, Salman, Wazir Ahmed, Abdul Basit, Dur Muhammad, and Mustafa, were among 24 seriously wounded individuals who had been airlifted by the Balochistan government. Their bodies have since been moved to the Sohrab Goth mortuary.

Sixteen others injured in the incident are still receiving treatment at a private hospital in Karachi.

The tragedy unfolded last Monday when an oil tanker’s fuel tank caught fire and exploded in Noshki, injuring at least 40 people and triggering a massive blaze.
