However, Minahil recently faced backlash for participating in the popular Heeramandi trend. She put her twist on a song from Heeramandi, showcasing her intense expressions, which are her signature style.
Specifically, she recreated Lajjo’s performance of “Mujhe Chor Di Jie,” originally portrayed by Richa Chadda in the film Heeramandi.
Despite her efforts, Minahil received criticism for her portrayal of a courtesan from Heeramandi.
