To prevent profiteering during the holy month of Ramazan 2025, the prices of milk and yogurt have been officially fixed in Peshawar.
The city administration has directed shopkeepers to prominently display the official price list at their shops.
According to the district administration, the price of buffalo milk with 6% fat has been set at Rs220 per litre, while buffalo milk with 5% fat will be sold at Rs190 per litre.
Similarly, the price of cow milk with 4% fat has been fixed at Rs190 per litre.
For yogurt, the price of A+ category has been set at Rs240 per kilogram, while A category yogurt will be available at Rs210 per kilogram.
The administration confirmed that these prices will be enforced from the first day of Ramazan.
Meanwhile, shopkeepers have already raised the prices of various essential items, including fruits, pulses, and other commodities, ahead of Ramazan.
