Sri Lanka’s Ranjan Madugalle, a senior member of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, will oversee the match officials for the upcoming three-match T20I series between Pakistan and Bangladesh, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Tuesday.
Madugalle, who holds the record for officiating the most international matches, 804 across all formats, recently served in a similar role during seven games of the HBL PSL X.
For the opening T20I, Asif Yaqoob and Rashid Riaz, both from the PCB International Panel of Umpires, will take charge on the field.
Ahsan Raza, part of the ICC Elite Panel, will handle third umpire duties, while Faisal Khan Aafreedi, from the ICC International Panel, will serve as the fourth umpire.
In the second game, Rashid Riaz and Faisal Khan Aafreedi will be the on-field officials, with Ahsan Raza once again acting as the third umpire. Asif Yaqoob will serve as the fourth umpire.
The third and final T20I will see Ahsan Raza and Asif Yaqoob take charge on the field, with Faisal Khan Aafreedi handling third umpire responsibilities and Rashid Riaz working as the fourth umpire.
