Hazim Bangwar, the Assistant Commissioner of North Nazimabad, has been in the news for his unique style and personality since he entered government service a few years back.
Famously named as Karachi’s ‘cool’ assistant commissioner by the media, Bangwar was recently spotted attending the latest Hum Style Awards event.
Sharing his experience on Instagram, Bangwar wrote, “While Pakistan may not host the Met Gala, it has @humstyleawards and a lot of style and talent.”

A former singer who shifted into public service, Bangwar is trendy for his significant contributions to the community. His achievements reached new heights earlier this year when he announced acceptance into Harvard University for a master’s degree program.

Bangwar, who relocated to New York with his family at just six days old, successfully passed a competitive exam and secured the position of assistant commissioner (revenue). He later assumed the role of AC of North Nazimabad.
In a recent interview, he clarified that contrary to rumors, he was never deported from the United States or London. His return to Pakistan was a voluntary decision driven by his desire to serve his country and its people.
