The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted warm and dry weather for Karachi over the next 24 hours, with temperatures expected to range between 35°C and 37°C.
Light north-western winds will continue, maintaining dry conditions, while the city’s humidity level is currently around 52%, with no significant changes in wind speed expected.
Over the past 24 hours, Karachi recorded a minimum temperature of 21.7°C, with relatively mild weather.
Authorities have advised residents to stay hydrated and take precautions against heat-related illnesses, especially during peak afternoon hours when temperatures are expected to be the highest.
The current weather pattern is likely to persist, with no major rainfall expected shortly.
Elsewhere in the country, most regions are experiencing dry weather, with hot daytime temperatures in the plains.
Morning temperatures recorded in major cities included 11°C in Islamabad, 20°C in Lahore, 24°C in Karachi, 14°C in Peshawar, 6°C in Quetta, 2°C in Gilgit, 7°C in Murree, and 12°C in Muzaffarabad.
Meanwhile, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, dry weather is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla.
Morning temperatures were recorded at 2°C in Srinagar and Anantnag, 12°C in Jammu, -6°C in Leh, and 1°C in Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramulla.
