Karachi experienced light rain early in the morning today, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) prediction shows cloudy skies, drizzle, and light rain in the city in the next 24 hours.
The PMD recorded the minimum temperature in Karachi at 28°C and the maximum temperature is expected to be between 30°C to 32°C.
The humidity is recorded at 85% with the westward winds blowing at 13 km per hour so the PMD forecasts the possibility of light rain in Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, and Badin today.
Moreover, the meteorological department predicted rainfall in other parts of the country with the possibility of downpours in some areas, according to a private news channel.
Chief Meteorological Sardar Sarfaraz stated that monsoon winds are expected to enter lower Sindh from August 16 so there is a strong possibility of rain in Karachi from August 17 to 19.
According to Geo News, he said that “mostly moderate rain with thundershowers” is expected in the metropolitan city and “there may be heavy rain in some areas”
