Karachi: The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) held a bidding opening ceremony at its headquarters in Karachi for the outsourcing of Islamabad International Airport.
A PAA spokesperson shared that the financial proposal, which was submitted by the TERG Consortium on October 7, was opened at the meeting. The consortium offered a concession fee of 47.25 percent of the project scope to PAA, with the reference percentage set at 56 percent, according to Geo News.
This offer will now be forwarded to IFC, the transaction advisor, for a thorough review of the submitted bid.
The IFC is expected to submit its review report to the PAA by January 9, 2025. The final decision on awarding the contract will be made after the PAA’s review and the approval of the federal cabinet, as confirmed by the spokesperson.
