Shah Rukh Khan, often hailed as the Baadshah of Bollywood, has once again proven his star power with his latest action-packed blockbuster, “Jawan,” which hit theaters on September 7 at the age of 57. The film already makes a significant impact at the box office.

In the lead-up to the film’s release, the entire cast, including Khan himself, kept fans eagerly anticipating with a flurry of posters, teasers, trailers, songs, and various revelations about the movie.

Right from the outset, industry analysts had high expectations for “Jawan,” predicting that it would shatter previous records and become one of the most successful films to date.

Indian media reports have revealed that a staggering 700,000 first-day tickets for “Jawan” were sold worldwide. The film has amassed a whopping INR 50 crore from advance bookings alone, with expectations that it will soon surpass INR 52 crore.

Earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan’s film “Pathaan” set a global box office record by raking in INR 1,000 crores. However, “Jawan” is now poised to potentially surpass this achievement.

Girish, a prominent film business analyst, has stated, “On its opening day, ‘Jawan’ could easily cross the 100-crore mark worldwide. Especially with releases in multiple languages, including Hindi. Its domestic earnings are anticipated to reach an impressive 60 crores.”

It’s worth noting that “Jawan” was initially scheduled to be released on June 2 this year but was postponed to September 7 due to technical reasons.

Responding to the overwhelmingly positive reviews, Shah Rukh Khan took to the social media platform X to express his gratitude. By saying, “I am truly touched by the immense support from every Fan Club and all of you who flocked to the theaters with such enthusiasm. I will certainly express my gratitude as soon as I catch my breath. Which may take a day or two. Uff!! Love you all for loving #Jawan.”
