Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and various parts of Pakistan are expected to experience more rain and gusty winds on Thursday evening and night.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the current weather pattern is influenced by continental air usually over most areas of the country.
Under these conditions, the twin cities and a few other regions may receive rain or drizzle, along with strong winds, during the evening or nighttime hours on Thursday.
For Friday and Saturday, the forecast suggests dry weather across most parts of the country, while hilly regions will remain cold.
Islamabad’s minimum temperature is expected to range between 11°C and 13°C on Friday and between 12°C and 14°C on Saturday.
In Rawalpindi, temperatures will likely be between 15°C and 17°C on Friday and 16°C and 18°C on Saturday.
Over the past 24 hours, most areas in Pakistan remained dry, with colder conditions persisting in hilly regions. However, some rainfall was recorded in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Kashmir, upper Punjab, Bagrote, and Kakul.

Leh recorded the lowest temperature in the country, dropping to -4°C. Other cold spots included Astore, Bagrote, and Kalam, where temperatures were recorded at 1°C.
In Islamabad, the minimum temperature was recorded at 10°C, with morning humidity at 79%. In Rawalpindi, the temperature dropped to 13°C, and the morning humidity was recorded at 53%.
