The weather across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and most parts of Pakistan is expected to remain mainly dry on Eid-ul-Fitr and the following two days.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air is prevailing over most regions, leading to dry conditions in the twin cities and across the country on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
During the daytime, the plains will experience hot weather.
In Islamabad, temperatures will range between 28°C and 30°C throughout these three days, while Rawalpindi will see slightly lower temperatures, staying between 26°C and 28°C.
Over the past 24 hours, most areas, including the twin Cities, experienced dry weather, with the plains remaining hot during the day. The hottest place in the country was Mithi, where temperatures soared to 37°C.
Other hot spots included Chhor, Karachi, Nawabshah, Sibbi, and Lasbela, where temperatures reached 36°C, while Turbat recorded 35°C.
In Islamabad, the highest recorded temperature was 28°C, with morning humidity at 65%. Meanwhile, Rawalpindi recorded a maximum temperature of 26°C, with humidity levels at 47% in the morning.
