Former Foreign Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari repeated that the Indian suspension of Indus Water Treaty is major threat to regional peace, calling it “illegal” and “unilateral” move by New Delhi.
Addressing a European policy forum in Brussels, Bilawal emphasized Pakistan’s longstanding commitment to addressing bilateral issues with India through diplomatic channels and constructive dialogue.
Bilawal is leading a senior-level parliamentary delegation on an international mission to clear Pakistan’s position amidst escalating tensions with India. Apart from Brussels, the delegation held engagements in Washington, New York, and London to highlight the misleading narratives promoted by New Delhi.
Arriving in Brussels, the delegation was formally welcomed by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Rahim Hayat Qureshi, along with senior diplomatic staff.

According to official statements, the purpose of the visit is to advocate for Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir and reinforce the urgency of implementing UN Security Council resolutions in line with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
