Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has announced an exciting fireworks display for the New Year’s celebration at the Governor’s House in Karachi.
To make the occasion open to the public, Kamran Tessori revealed that all five gates of the Governor House will be open to the public during the event.
Governor Tessori stated, “We want to share the joy of the new year with everyone.” He highlighted the importance of unity and shared celebrations
The main attraction of the evening will be a grand 40-minute fireworks show, which aim to set a new international record, he added.
Kamran Tessori also expressed his heartfelt wishes for 2025, hoping for peace, security, stability, economic growth, and well-being for all Pakistanis.
The event, scheduled for December 31, will be a remarkable experience for Karachi’s residents, showcasing a sense of collective joy and national pride.
Meanwhile, the Karachi city administration has imposed section 144 for two days across the city to ensure safety and security during New Year’s Eve.
Commissioner Karachi, Syed Hasan Naqvi, issued a notification after receiving recommendations from the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), South Zone Karachi, according to ARY.
The restrictions, effective from December 31 till January 1, include a ban on carrying or displaying weapons, aerial firing, and the use of firecrackers. The notification includes that strict action will be taken against the violators.
