The holiday period, spanning Monday to Wednesday, will allow people to observe and enjoy the festivities.

Meanwhile, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and zonal committees will convene on the evening of March 30, 2025 (Ramazan 29, 1446 AH), to sight the Shawwal moon and confirm the end of Ramadan.

This meeting, taking place at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, will include religious scholars, meteorologists, and experts reviewing moon sighting reports from across Pakistan. Their decision will officially determine the date of Eidul Fitr.

Earlier, in February 2025, the Pakistan Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) used scientific assessments, astronomical calculations, and observational data to predict the visibility of both the Ramadan and Shawwal crescents.

According to these forecasts, the Shawwal moon is expected to be seen on March 30, making Eidul Fitr likely to be observed on March 31, 2025.
