Gold, silver prices continue to fall in local, global markets

The price of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs460 per tola on Thursday, trading at Rs358,595 compared to Rs359,055 the previous day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

This marks the fourth consecutive day of decline in gold prices this week.

The cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also fell by Rs394, settling at Rs307,437 from Rs307,831, while 10 grams of 22 karat gold decreased by Rs361 to Rs281,827 from Rs282,188.

Silver prices followed a similar trend, with per tola and 10-gram rates slipping by Rs58 and Rs49, reaching Rs3,820 and Rs3,275 respectively.

In the international market, gold fell by $6, now priced at $3,372 per ounce, and silver dropped by $0.83 to $36.37, as per the Association.
