Gold sees minor drop, maintains near historic high

On Monday, the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association reported a Rs700 drop in the price of 24-karat gold per tola, now trading at Rs362,300, down from Rs363,000 on the previous trading day. The current rate is slightly below the record high of Rs363,700 per tola.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs600, making new variation of Rs310,613, compared to Rs311,213 previously. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased by Rs550, reaching Rs284,738 from Rs285,288.

However, prices of Silver stand still and closed at Rs. 3,787 and Rs. 3,246 of of per tola silver and and ten gram silver respectively. Although, a noticeable drop noticed in Gold prices amid market variation.

In the international market, gold prices dropped by $18 to $3,414, while silver remained stable at $36.29, according to the Association. These changes of precious metals in market emphasizes the global market trends, making gold varies and silver showing consistency.
