The price of 24-karat gold per tola saw a sharp increase of Rs3,200 on Thursday, reaching Rs321,000, compared to its previous rate of Rs317,800, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs2,743, bringing it up to Rs275,205 from Rs272,462. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold also saw a rise of Rs2,515, now priced at Rs252,280 instead of Rs249,765.
Silver prices also experienced an upward trend, with per tola silver increasing by Rs105 to reach Rs3,580. The price of ten grams of silver climbed by Rs90, now standing at Rs3,069.
On the international market, gold prices surged by $31, moving from $3,021 to $3,052, while silver prices increased by $1.00, now valued at $34.10, according to the association.
