The price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,335 per tola, reaching Rs356,000 on Thursday, up from Rs354,665 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,144, now standing at Rs305,212, compared to Rs304,068 earlier. For 10 grams of 22-karat gold, the price went up by Rs1,048, hitting Rs279,787 from the previous Rs278,739.
Silver also saw a notable rise, with the price of per tola and ten grams climbing by Rs86 and Rs73, bringing the new rates to Rs3,850 and Rs3,300, respectively.
In the global market, gold prices increased by $13, moving from $3,330 to $3,343, while silver rose by $0.86 to reach $36.66, the Association reported.
