Gold prices rise again by Rs4,000 per tola in Pakistan, silver remains stable

Gold prices continued their strong upward trend in the local market on Monday, with the per tola rate jumping by Rs4,000 to reach Rs342,500.

According to the Sarafa Association, gold prices have seen a sharp increase in line with the international surge in bullion value. The cost of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs3,429, now standing at Rs293,638.

Silver prices, on the other hand, remained stable, with the per tola rate unchanged at Rs3,410.

On the global front, gold reached $3,241 per ounce, gaining $40 on May 19. This international rally, fueled by ongoing economic uncertainty, continues to push domestic gold prices upward as investors seek safer assets.
