KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant drop for the second consecutive day of the current business week on Tuesday (April 23).
According to the Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs7,800 to close at Rs240,900. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs6,687 to settle at Rs206,533.
In the international market, the price of gold saw a decline of $72 to close at $2,309 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices also followed a downward trend, with the per tola price dropping by Rs100 to close at Rs2,650, while the price of 10-gram silver settled at Rs2,371.94 in Pakistan.
The per tola gold price in Pakistan is now Rs240,900, having decreased by Rs7,800 on April 23, 2024.
The per tola silver price in Pakistan stands at Rs2,650.
