Gold prices continued their record-breaking streak in both local and global markets on Saturday. In Pakistan, the price of one tola of gold climbed by Rs2,320, reaching an all-time high of Rs325,700.
Likewise, the cost of 10 grams of gold saw an increase of Rs1,994, bringing it to Rs279,240, as per the latest figures from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On the international front, gold prices also remained on an upward trajectory. According to APGJSA, the global gold rate climbed to $3,082.95 per ounce, reflecting a gain of $8.95 for the day.
This rise follows a sharp increase observed on Friday when gold prices jumped by Rs2,380 per tola, closing at Rs323,380.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan also saw an upward movement, with a rise of Rs. 15 per tola, pushing the new rate to Rs3,625.
