The price of gold continues its upward trend, closing the week with a rise of Rs1,000, bringing it close to its all-time high of Rs308,000 per tola.
According to data from the Sarafa Association, the price of gold increased by Rs1,000 per tola on Saturday, following a similar trend in international markets. This pushed the per tola rate to Rs308,000, while the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs857, reaching Rs264,060.

This increase followed a drop in prices on Friday when gold per tola fell by Rs2,000, settling at Rs307,000. On the same day, international gold prices also climbed, reaching $2,936 per ounce with a $20 premium, reflecting a $6 increase during the day.
