The price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs600 per tola on Wednesday, reaching Rs352,900, up from Rs352,300 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs514, now standing at Rs302,554 compared to Rs302,040 earlier. For 22-karat gold, the price of 10 grams rose by Rs471, reaching Rs277,351 from Rs276,880.
Meanwhile, the prices of silver remained unchanged, with per tola silver holding steady at Rs3,745 and 10 grams at Rs3,210.
On the global front, gold prices climbed by $6, hitting $3,345 per ounce compared to $3,339 previously, while silver stayed flat at $35.87 per ounce, the Association noted.
