Deadly blast in Nushki kills seven, injures dozens

A devastating blast on the RCD Highway in Nushki claimed at least seven lives and left dozens injured on Sunday.

Security forces quickly sealed off the area and launched an investigation, dead bodies and more than 30 injured, several in critical condition, were rushed to Nushki Hospital, where an emergency was declared.

Reports suggest it was a suicide attack targeting a security forces vehicle on the Noshki-Dalbandin Highway.

In another incident, terrorists attacked the main gate of the Levies Line in Qila Saifullah, causing significant damage.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported. Security forces are investigating the attack to determine its nature.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the twin blasts in Balochistan, mourning the loss of lives and praying for the recovery of the injured.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the victims and their families.

Stressing that enemies are combining to threaten Pakistan, he assured that such cowardly acts would not break the nation’s spirit, and all necessary steps would be taken to uphold peace and stability.
