CM Maryam Nawaz arrives in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah in Ramazan

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah during the holy month of Ramazan, accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the spiritual journey.

Maryam’s visit to the Kingdom comes at a time when millions of Muslims from around the world are traveling to the holy cities for Umrah, a pilgrimage of great significance.

Besides her religious performance, Maryam’s presence in the Kingdom also holds importance in provincial leadership and humanitarian matters.

Before departing for Saudi Arabia, she met with her father, Nawaz Sharif, who offered prayers for her well-being and the safety of the entire delegation.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also in Saudi Arabia, where he has been engaging with top officials.

During his meetings in Jeddah, he held discussions with Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih and Mohammad Al-Tuwaijri, reaffirming Pakistan’s dedication to facilitating Saudi investors.

He highlighted investment opportunities in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and technology, encouraging Saudi businesses to explore these prospects through the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
