BISE announces new dates for postponed inter, matric exams 2025

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has released a revised timetable for Intermediate Part 2 exams that were postponed amid rising tensions between Pakistan and India.

Earlier this month, two intermediate exams and several Matric practicals were delayed due to the worsening situation, which had created a war-like atmosphere in the region.

On May 7, the Islamic Studies and Accounting exams were called off. According to the new schedule, these papers are now set to be held on June 16.

The Tarjmatul Quran exam, originally postponed on May 9, will now take place on May 31.

As for Matric practicals, those postponed on May 7, including Chemistry and Food & Nutrition (Tailoring), will now be held on May 27. The practicals that were delayed on May 9 will take place on May 29.

BISE has confirmed that all examination centers will remain unchanged.

New Roll Number Slips

The board stated that updated roll number slips are now available online. Regular students can collect them from their schools, while private candidates can download theirs from the BISE Rawalpindi website.

This new schedule follows a ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India, facilitated by the United States after several days of high tension.
