In a significant step forward for regional cricket, Pakistan and Bangladesh have officially agreed to hold a T20I series following successful discussions between the two cricket boards.
The agreement was reached after a meeting involving Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and top officials from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), including Chairman Nazmul Abedin and President Faruque Ahmed.
As part of the arrangement, Bangladesh’s national team will travel to Pakistan later this month for a three-match T20I series.

All games are scheduled to take place at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, with the official match dates to be announced soon.
“We are grateful to the BCB leadership for their trust and cooperation. This series is another positive step in strengthening cricketing ties between our nations,” said PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, expressing his gratitude for the collaboration.
The PCB had initially hoped to include Faisalabad as one of the venues, but plans for hosting matches there will have to wait a little longer.
Earlier reports indicated that several Bangladeshi players were hesitant to commit to a five-match series due to their already packed cricketing calendar.
