Karachi: On Friday, AirSial airline has decided to expand its international flight operations, as per the reports.
AirSial will now be able to get five of the latest aircraft to expand its flight operations, according to reports. The administration is currently talking with the aviation companies to purchase new planes, reports added.
AirSial administration may hire more pilots, staff, and cabin crews after purchasing five new aircraft.
AirSial launched by Sialkot’s business community on December 9, 2020, was permitted to operate international flights on seven routes including China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkiye, the United Kingdom, and Kuwait.
AirSial started its international flight operations on December 31, 2021.
AirSial’s first chartered flight with 162 passengers on board flew from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport to Dubai, according to reports.
A celebration with a cake-cutting ceremony was also held at the airport before the departure of the plane.
AirSial launched its domestic flight service with the help of Airbus A320–200 aircraft on December 25, 2020, for the route of Karachi and Islamabad.
The airline’s operation was started with a fleet of three Airbus A320-200 planes. AirSial was conceived by the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s members.
