Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced that Lahore will once again host Basant in 2027 after the successful return of the festival in 2026.
In a statement, Maryam Nawaz said Basant Lahore 2027 will be held from March 12 to 14, 2027.
She said the festival will once again bring colors, culture, music and celebrations to Lahore. The chief minister invited young people from Punjab and other parts of Pakistan to join the festivities and make lasting memories during the three-day event.

Maryam Nawaz also extended an invitation to overseas Pakistanis and international visitors, encouraging them to visit Lahore and experience the city’s celebrations and hospitality.
She expressed hope that Basant 2027 would be another successful and memorable event. The announcement follows the Punjab government’s decision to host Basant celebrations in 2026.
